This shows it leaving the US on the 8th and landing at Constanța while this appears to show that the K35R actually took off from Incirlik earlier today, flew to the Egyptian coast, at least and now it is returning to UAB. So I'm having a look at the others that followed this pattern to see if they too actually took off from Inclirlik instead of from some mystery place in Africa or the Saudi peninsula.

Still pretty mysterious.

Mystery at least partly solved : all these K35Rs flew the same pattern : flying from Incirlik into Egypt and returning to UAB. Some flew the route more than once and some rotated in or out from the US via Constanța directly before or after.

That just leaves one mystery : what are these sorties about ?
